Yvette Pais is the author and the illustrator that created the character Gus The Traveler. She was born in Mexico and obtained her higher education in the United States. She is an Elementary School Teacher and Educational Consultant. She is now an entrepreneur in the Educational Field.

She wishes to raise children’s interest in reading. She also hopes that children learn different languages, as the world has become globalized. Hence, it is important to know how to speak, read and write in more than one language.
